I'm a full-time professional house and petsitter, and I've been doing this since 2022, working across the UK. I'm fully insured, very experienced, and have completed Animal First Aid training with the College of Animal Welfare. How does Petsitting work?
I stay in your home while you're away, and take care of your pets as if they were my own. I follow their usual routines of feeding, resting, playing, grooming, and exercising. If your pet has a medicine or treatment they need to take, I ensure this happens, too. And yes, they can absolutely sleep in my bed!Is petsitting the best option for my pet?
Maybe! You know your pet best. From my experience, I've found that pets feel safest and most comfortable in their own home, following their usual routine, with a human to give them love and attention 24/7.How much does it cost?
The cost of petsitting varies wildly, but I think my fees are smack bang in the 'reasonable' zone! I charge per 24 hours and the cost depends on various factors - most importantly, the type and number of pets and their needs.
